I was pretty young when I began telling my parents that I wanted to be a famous rock star. I played guitar, and I thought that I could just walk into any music studio and they would snatch me up, put me on stage and pay me millions of dollars. It took me awhile to realize that becoming a star doesn’t work that way. It took me awhile to learn that working to get a music production diploma would help me to get pretty far in life, so that’s what I set out to do instead. I know that my parents are both relieved that I ended up doing something that made sense.

The guys and I did not really have that much to celebrate, because we knew by then that we were going to be out of the job before too long. The boss has always been slightly unhinged and we were forced to put up with all sorts of antics from him. Of course the whole time it was his wife who had all of the money and now she has kicked him to the curb as they say. I knew that I would find the future home of our family after a lot of research, so I was surprised to find it as quickly as I did. I had some help as my assistant did a lot of the hands on research, which I was very appreciative of. I needed a four bedroom condo because of my growing family. I am about to marry my wife, who has two children from a previous marriage. I told my assistant about the different requirements, and she is the one who found the Singapore New Futura condo development.

The reason I need four bedrooms is because my future wife is also bringing her former mother in law into our home. That might sound strange, but it actually isn’t. My grandmother always told us granddaughters to be proud of our wrinkles as we get older. We were all close in age, and she started telling us this when we were in our 20s and wrinkles seemed decades away. Well, we were wrong on our time estimates of that happening. When I reached my early 40s, I noticed that the wrinkles on my face were a bit more prominent, and I immediately started researching Singapore aesthetic to see if there was a way to slow down their progression. I know Gram always said to wear them with pride, but I also knew that she would have resisted if she had the resources that we have now.
